If you play airsoft, and your serious about it, you need to learn these tactics. Using these basic tactics while playing airsoft will be a huge advantage.

When your teammates need to move, they need cover fire. You will need to shoot toward the enemy while they move. This can be a very effective technique.

Patience and planning are very important in this game. Being patient will allow you to observe and understand your surrounding. Knowing enemy location is key. Knowing your teammates location is also very important.

Communication is essential in airsoft. You can use hand signals in situations that require silence and stealth. I prefer radios for verbal communication. Relay information to your teammates about killed enemies and enemy position.

It is important to not stay in the same location for too long as you run the risk of being flanked. Do not wait around for the perfect shot to come along. Move around and create the perfect shot. be sure to move in a manner that is not predictable and would compromise you.

Pay attention to your environment. If you are in a fire-fight with an enemy, pay close attention to their movements. Try to understand what there next move is. Predict where their next point of cover is going to be and shoot there. Always shoot from cover rather than running or moving and shooting. That will decrease your aiming abilities.
